Last week congressperson Elissa Slotkin was interviewed on The Daily. Amid much fanfare about how an ex-CIA agent and super moderate democrat embraced impeachment, was this gem:
Elissa Slotkin [CHUCKLES]: If anyone thinks that there is a radical socialist base in my district, they haven’t visited my district. It’s — yes.
Michael Barbaro: We’d like to know where they are. Where are they?
Slotkin is the Democratic rep for Michigan’s 8th congressional district.
