The United Nations proved unable to stop the illegal invasion of Iraq and is standing on the sidelines during genocide in Darfur. These days, it looks like the organization has lost its relevance. We clearly need a much stronger and more active UN. Here are examples of what is wrong with the UN today and how it can be made more effective.
