Author Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz Lecture in Burlington, VT: Indigenous People’s History and the Roots of America’s Endless Wars

Author, teacher, and activist Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz will be giving a lecture on March 29, 7:30pm at the Fleming Museum of Art — Room 101, at the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT. The title of her talk is Indigenous Peoples’ History and the Roots of America’s Endless Wars. Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz is a longtime feminist, native rights, antiwar and antiracist activist. She is a teacher and the author of five books, including the multi-award-winning An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States. This is part of the Will Miller Social Justice Lecture Series, and Toward Freedom is a sponsor of the talk.
